Taylor and Willie

Today we had the honor and privilege once again to walk through the halls of Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, and let God move on our hearts as we visit the sick. And MOVE......He did!

We always pray as we are walking through the halls that The Holy Spirit will lead us to people that are in need of a touch from Him.  Today our prompting from Him was so strong that we both felt it at the same time. We walked past room 409, where a young girl was getting an IV put in, and as we passed by, her eyes met ours and we instantly knew that God was moving in a big way, and absolutely sending US into this room. The urgency and conviction to go in and talk to this young lady was so strong, that we actually sat in the visitors area until the nurses were done with their procedure. We are so glad we were obedient to His voice, as we walked in and said hello to Taylor Nicole, a 25 year old local girl that has been caught up in the bondage of drugs for far too long now. Recently released from jail, she said she went right back to her addiction not long after getting out and ended up right back in the bondage that the enemy uses on millions of people. She told us that she grew up in a Christian home but somehow lost her way (as so many do) and that her Mother was praying for her to come back to The Cross and turn her life back over to God. Our visit was literally an answered prayer for her Mom, her, and most definitely for both of US! WE blessed her with a word challenge puzzle book, a deck of cards and a powerful prayer that all bondages be BROKEN in the Name of Jesus. We will also ask you to pray for her freedom and her deliverance as well as her health.

We also met the man pictured below, Willie James, from Alabama. Willie was an absolute joy to talk to and has known Jesus since he was a young man. He loved the word challenge book that we gave him and was very happy that it said "Chicken Soup for The Soul". We prayed with Willie James and asked God to restore his health and allow him to go home to his kids who take care of him.

All in all we had an amazing day and we walked our of the hospital filled with joy and gratitude that God would use two sinners saved by grace to reach people like Taylor and Willie with His LOVE!
