Surrender40 Ministries presents our 2016 "Burgers and Blankets Christmas Event"

Surrender40 Ministries is so excited to announce our plans for our 4th Annual Christmas event here in beautiful Davenport, Florida. Every year we have been blessed to be able to serve the poor people ate Proctor's Mobile Home Park, and this year will be just as special. So what does Burgers and Blankets mean? Glad you asked, because we are very happy to tell you.

On Sunday, December 25th we will hopefully be able to bring OVER 100 freshly made McDonald's cheeseburgers, and a BUNCH of Hot Apple Pies, and we are praying for a CAR LOAD of beautiful, and most importantly very warm blankets that will bless many. Blankets, in Florida? ABSOLUTELY, and while we know we are blessed to live here while the rest of the country deals with snow and ice, please know that it still dips into the 30's and 40's during the winter here in Central Florida. Now if you live in a beautiful home, that is no big deal, however, if you live in a trailer like the one below, with holes on the side and NO heat, that is a BIG issue. We will also share The Gospel with as many and hopefully have some toys and stuff for the many beautiful kids that live here. We are announcing this event with boldness and expectation that you will find it in your hearts to help us meet and exceed our Christmas budget of $700. We also need to close out the giving by Sunday, December 18th to allow the proper amount of time for purchasing all that we need.
