"MINISTRY HEADQUARTERS BURGLARIZED"

Since we have always shared all news, good or bad with our family, friends and partners, we are posting this to keep you informed and up to date. We are saddened to announce that the HQ of Surrender40 Ministries was recently burglarized and that a VERY large amount of valuables was stolen from us. We cannot get into details, but we can share with you that we are the FIFTH (5) such burglary in this area in the last 60 days, including the beautiful Pentecostal Church down the street. We also want to give God all the GLORY for protecting our founder, Trachena, as she was on the premises during the burglary, but God hid her and protected her in the bathroom while the ministry was robbed. Had the thieves known she was present, it may have been mush worse, and we are very grateful to God that He had His mighty hand of protection on her!

This is absolutely devastating to us as we were planning on moving the entire ministry out of Miami to follow the call of God on our lives. The City of Miami recently BANNED and OUTLAWED any and all homeless feeding ministries and anyone that violates this ordinance will get arrested and be fined $300 each occurrence. Never being defeated or giving up, the ministry was planning to move north within 30-60 days, until this. NOW, IT'S ALL GONE! Gone, in less then 4 minutes of ransacking and burglarizing....SO......We are starting all over again from nothing. That is nothing "Financially", because our FAITH and LOVE for God is so huge and we are believing that he will restore and replace what satan was allowed to steal from us.

Oh, one more thing...the guy that did this, arrested days later and now in jail facing a life sentence for being a career criminal and being in one of the very jails that we have preached in. So, as a ministry, and ambassadors of God, what do we do? We forgive him, pray for him and we will even offer to go and meet with him to help him change his life through the same saving grace that we were freely given by our Lord, Jesus Christ. That is what WE are called to do. Pray for him, his name is Kevin. By the way, ALL HE TOOK IS GONE WITHOUT A TRACE!

We are now turning to our friends and supporters and asking for donations to get to the $10,000 mark that we need to move this entire ministry. We cannot stay here in Miami, we must move and we believe that God's people will answer the call and help us recover from this devastating blow.
